JOB DESCRIPTION

As a key member of the Digital Marketing Technology team the Digital Solutions Architect is responsible for building the digital platform solutions for our client(s) (CMS, CRM, Marketing Automation etc.), pitching the concept internally and externally and working with third parties to ensure successful implementation.

This a key role working alongside the wider digital team with a key responsibility to take the client’s business forward and supporting the ambition for Spark44 to be a leading digital marketing agency. Working with the wider digital team, the role includes supporting the identification of opportunity/improvement areas for the digital program within Spark44, focusing on simplification and value-add for the client.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Primary Focus:


  • Oversee the technical strategy of the digital platforms and initiatives in relation to DX

  • Define and develop the CRM/CMS/MA architectural solution and roadmap

  • Work with the digital team to define a technical and architectural best practice

    for Spark44

  • Build business cases based off the innovation concepts and pitch with the

    team

  • Leverage technical expertise to guide and advise both internally and the

    client(s)

  • Provide technical and financial insight / budgeting information to brief

    responses


    Leadership:

  • Lead the DX technical strategy for the client

  • Work with the head of UX to ensure all technical solutions are achievable

  • Identify and present platform solutions to the client and oversee the

    implementation

  • Build strong relationships with Connect and other 3rd party development

    vendors

  • Present to clients the architectural platform solutions and integration

    opportunities to support growth

  • Support the growth of the Spark44 team through collaboration, knowledge

    sharing etc. 


    Accountability:


  • Develop and own the platform architecture for the client(s)

  • Ensure client awareness of options and opportunities for further integrating

    platforms

  • Keep aware and ahead of platform technology advances and changes

  • Work with wider teams to collaborate, share learning, create and deliver

    business proposals / cases

  • Provide input in to the client partners’ annual Scope of Work (SoW) definition

    Collaboration:

  • Actively strive to support and contribute to the output of the wider team and agency

  • Keep all departments informed about activity status, workload etc.

  • Work pro-actively with the digital and CRM teams from the other Spark offices

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, 3rd parties etc.

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders


    PERSON SPECIFICATION


  • Experience in building Digital strategies / architectures within relevant team structure

  • Experience in platform integrations including CRM, CMS etc.

  • Experience in delivering Digital projects, digital programs and working to

    SLA’s & deadlines.

  • Pro-active development and implementation of best practice processes

  • Project management methodology experience (Agile, Prince2, etc.)

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills

  • Adept at working effectively under pressure and meeting deadlines

  • Ability to lead and inspire teams

  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
