An efficient administrator is needed to play an important role in a small but busy and dynamic team at the JLR Gaydon office in Warwickshire.

The Internal Communications function provides a service to all UK business areas which plans, defines, creates, delivers and measures key communications engagement activity across all business areas, using multiple channels and engagement platforms from events through to eDM.

You will support both retailer (Dealer) and internal communications for the UK business and will report to the Jaguar Land Rover UK Internal Communications Senior Content Editor in Gaydon as well as the Spark44 team.

In an ever-evolving business, the role is vital in ensuring our communications reach both colleagues and retail partners and take them on a consistent journey, delivered through relevant, engaging and informative communications.

Administrative experience managing databases and editing content on digital systems for online use are essential. As this role requires building good relationships with all levels of management, external agencies and the wider retail network; clear communication and presentation skills are compulsory.

Role overview

  •   Handle on a day to day basis the Dealer Portal ensuring all content and administrative issues are dealt with efficiently

  •   Manage the UK NSC ADSC process

  •   Manage all UK NSC and Retailer Data Bases

  •   Manage surveys and measurement analysis

  •   Provide administrative support on an ad hoc basis to support the delivery of the Internal

    Communications strategy


  •   Manage the ADSC process and lead on the process review, liaising with Global Portal Team to ensure the UK strategy aligns with the Global business needs

  •   Manage all UK NSC and Retailer communication and event distributions lists

  •   Maintaining data standards, including adherence to the Date Protection Act

  •   Writing database documentation, including data standards and procedures in line with The JLR


  •   Keeping data consistence across the database and reviewed regularly working with


  •   Support the maintenance of Retailer Portal platform

  •   Answer queries and manage the Retailer portal mailboxes

  •   Create communication and event surveys to drive measurement

  •   Support and influence project leads to ensure that internal communications best practice is embedded in all project plans, that information is appropriately shared, and that messages are accessible, timely and appropriately targeted
